Just found out, and was rather surprised to find this, that the way that I pronounce “cache” is uniquely Australian. It appears that the rest of the world pronounce it as though it rhymes with the word cash whereas I pronounce it “cay-sh”. Wonder what else is unique to Australia that I don’t know about.
