The bookmark on the left is shown original size and was tatted using three strands of DMC embroidery cotton for both the shuttle and ball threads.

- Ring A : 5ds p 10 ds p 5ds
- Ring B : 5ds join to previous ring, 15ds p 5ds
- Ring C : 5ds join to previous ring, 10ds p 5ds
- Chain A : 5ds
- Ring D : 5ds join to previous ring, 15ds p 5ds
- Chain B : 5ds p 10ds
- Clover Leaf
- 1st Ring : 10ds join to previous ring, 5ds p 5ds
- 2nd Ring : 5ds join to previous ring, 10ds p 5ds
- 3rd Ring : 5ds join to previous ring, 5ds p 10ds
- Chain C: 10ds p 5ds
- Ring D
- Chain B
- Clover Leaf
- Ring D
- Chain B

- Chain A
- Ring 5ds join to previous ring, 10ds p 5ds

Cut embroidery cotton into lengths that are twice the length of the bookmark, fold over and join through one of the end Ring Bs.
As you can see, it is very easy to lengthen this bookmark if you so desire.
