Ireland has this year introduced a fabulous scheme whereby you can salary sacrifice the purchase of a bicycle and accessories. The result is that you end up paying just over half the price out of your own pocket.
So, today I ordered a Pashley. Pashley have been producing hand-made bicycles for over 70 years and supplied the post office during the 70s and 80s.
For me, it’s the classic style that I love. The bike I’ve ordered is cream and claret (no, not red – “red” would be vulgar) and has a massive wicker basket on the front, a huge classic bell and leather seat.
It should be here within the next 6 weeks, I can’t wait!
