I love sudoku – Rosemary Manning introduced me to these logic puzzles and I haven’t stopped since. The objective is to fill the 9×9 grid so that each column, each row,
and each of the nine 3×3 boxes contains the digits 1 to 9. The puzzle
setter provides a partially completed grid so that there is only one
solution. It’s so simple and can be quite a challenge. I also love the way you can just pick it up at any stage and continue on.
Here’s my favourite sudoku sites –
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudoku – the wikipedia entry tells you about the basics of solving these puzzles.
http://www.ironsudoku.com – they have a daily puzzle and if you register you can get access to a whole bunch of other puzzles.
http://supersudoku.com/ – has links to sudoku generators, including my favourite of all, the samurai sudoku and super sudoku.
